Sündenrausch is black-romantic music that lives from hard riffs, carried rhythms and a clear female voice.

The Hamburg band Sündenrausch was originally formed in November 2011. Started as a five-piece band, with songs that are more in the pop-rock area, the band disbanded in mid-2013. In 2014, singer Kira and guitarist Michael revived Sündenrausch as a songwriting duo.

To be able to offer a rousing, energetic live show, Kira and Michael are supported on stage by Jonathan Murphy on bass and Jörn Schwarzburger on drums.

In 2015, the duo released their first album called “Sündstoff “, which was self-produced and includes 11 tracks. In summer 2016 the EP “Schwarz wie Ebenholz” followed. This time the artists were able to finance the CD through crowdfunding and went to Chameleon Studios Hamburg for the recordings. Producers were the renowned frontman of the band Lord of the Lost, Chris “the Lord” Harms and Benjamin Lawrenz. Musically, there is a clear development towards straightforward, heavy rhythms and metal-heavy guitars.

The still unsigned band accompanied the scene great Megaherz on tour in Germany, Austria and Switzerland in winter 2016/2017 and has already shared stages in Germany with bands like Blutengel, Xandria, Unzucht, Heldmaschine or Nox Interna.

With the release of their mini-album “Zeitgeist” in winter 2019, Sündenrausch awakens from a creative break to new life and finds back on stage with new, energetic songs.

Singer Kira is also featured on the Blutengel album “Damokles” (2019) with the song “Briefe an dich” in a duet with Chris Pohl. Kira wrote the lyrics to the song.
